Day 310: Poor Sick Baby

My mom was supposed to go home today, but because of a series of events that lead to her having no car keys, she was stranded for an extra day, which was totally fine with me!  Teirney went to an out of town Badger football game with a friend and wasn't going to be back until the following day, he had accidentally taken my mom's keys with him.  Oops.  I was glad to have the company since Teirney was gone for the night and KK is sick.  Poor baby, she just seems to be getting cold after cold lately.  Grandmom was trying to read her a story here, but she wanted nothing to do with photos being taken in the condition she was in.

Day 309: Game Night

My mom is still here and my brother, and his two kids, came over for dinner tonight.  After dinner, we all sat down to play a game with the kids.  KK is starting to come down with a cold, and she wanted in on the actions, so she found a comfy spot on her daddy's lap.

Day 308: Dollhouse Fun

My mom is still staying with KK while I'm at jury duty, so she took this photo of KK playing with her dollhouse today.

Day 307: Pants-less...But Cute

I got called for jury duty the last couple days, so my mom is here taking care of KK while I'm gone.  Well, this is what happens when the laundry hasn't been done and you have someone else watching your child.  My mom couldn't find any clean pants for her to wear, so this is what KK ended up wearing today. lol  I love it!

Day 306: Dip It

Tonight for dinner we had leftover chili, but KK doesn't really care for chili that much...in the form of soup anyway.  So to entice her, we mix it with some sour cream and make a dip out of it.  Since it was the bottom of the barrel so to speak, it became the family "dip" bowl and she had no trouble helping herself.

Day 305: Tech-y Girl

We have a tech-y girl on our hands -- there is no doubt about it.  KK *always* wants to play with the computer whenever we have it out.  So between the computer and our phones, she could really care less about her toys.  Tonight I was making dinner and all of a sudden I turned around and there was my child, trying to be all sneaky with her hood up, and looking all cute typing on my computer.  She knew she wasn't supposed to do that, not to mention that she is standing on a chair. lol  But sometimes you have to break the rules for the sake of a photo, right?

Day 304: Trick or Treating

KK came home from her Grandparents' house today and we headed over to her friend, Alexander's, house to go trick or treating in their neighborhood.  This was before we headed outside and KK wanted nothing to do with standing still for a photo...she was far too excited.  As you can see, she was a bumble bee. :-)  I didn't take my camera with us while we trick or treated, so unfortunately, this is the only photo I really have of her in her costume.  I do have some cell phone photos that turned out awful, but it's the memory that counts, right?

She had the best time trick or treating and she knew exactly what to do, since her Grandparents had taken her trick or treating while she was visiting them.  It was adorable watching her and Alexander prance happily door-to-door in their cute little costumes.
